Flexible Expansion
tStor-1000 extends its unique host performance bandwidth to tStor-1000E expansion arrays enabling unencumbered capacity expansion. The tStor-1000 combines 8 ports of GbE for host connectivity, which is four times most competitors, with two separate 4x SAS interfaces for expansion arrays, which is double the performance over what the competition offers. This unique tStor-1000 combination provides scalability without loss of performance.tStro-1000 supports up to two expansion units ( tStor-1000E) per system controller for a total of 36 high performance, high-capacity SAS or SATA drives. Both the tStor-1000E and tStor-1000 are 2U chassis support up to 12 drives. By supporting a choice of either SAS or SATA disks, tStor-1000 offers compelling block-based network storage solutions for primary, tiered, and nearline storage applications.
